How long does the Instafarm take to set up?
Less than 5 minutes! All that is required to get the Instafarm up and running is to unpack the Instafarm, plug in the power supply, fill the water tank, add your desired trays, and power it
What regular maintenance is needed?
The Instafarm nozzle can collect calcium deposits, and for some customers it may need decalcified or replaced. Depending on water hardness, this may need repeated every 12-18 months.
How does the Instafarm use top watering successfully? (I thought that microgreens were grown using bottom watering.)
The Instafarm uses precise watering through the growth cycle of each microgreen tray, by using sensors that detect the height, humidity, and temperature at each tray. This allows us to grow beautiful, healthy, top-watered greens!
Does the Instafarm need sunlight to grow microgreens?
No, the Instafarm is fully equipped to grow your microgreens (even in a dark closet!).
Do I have to have a tray subscription to purchase the Instafarm?
No, you can purchase the Instafarm with or without a subscription.
